My husband and I spent 7 nights here for our honeymoon and this place truly exceeded our expectations. Prior to coming we had booked 3 excursions for the week but as soon as we arrived and toured the place, we cancelled all our excursions so that we can enjoy this paradise of a place. The place has everything you need and more, it’s located in a beautiful and safe town that is less than a 5 min walk to the beach, beautiful and breath taking views from anywhere you are, an infinity pool, a third floor gym, and multiple places to sit and relax while enjoying the views and sipping on coffee. The place also has speakers around that you can use for music. Alex and Brayan were so accommodating and amazng hosts, always there to answer any questions we had and give us recommendations. There are a few restaurants nearby and I’d strongly recommend for you to try Los Almandres. We fell in love with the airbnb and the town. We wished that we booked our entire 15 day honeymoon in that specific airbnb since there’s just so much to do and you will never get bored. The place is super clean, has a full kitchen, and it was a bonus to come to fresh fruit and coffee. It truly exceeded our expectations and we had the most amazing honeymoon there. If you’re lucky you’ll meet Theo , the cutest and sweetest dog 💕

Beautiful home in the hills of Esterillos! This home meets all expectations from the listing. It’s such a beautiful space with everything you could need. The layout, 2nd floor open space, pool, and hammock area are so well thought out. You can see and hear the ocean from the comfort of your bed as well as the pool. The location is a 5 minute walk to the beach and near 2 small convenience stores and restaurants (Soda Margarita is a must, the best Arroz con Camarones!). Alex, the host, lives next door and is available if needed and has great recommendations. Brayan lives in the unit downstairs and is always willing to help. The property is stunning and very well kept, keep in mind caretakers may be onsite to take care of the property during the week. I would definitely recommend this home for anyone considering. If it’s available, book it now. You won’t regret it.

Where should I start???

I have to agree with all previous guests about wanting to give thousands stars to this UNIQUE place!
From the beginning of our booking communication was so smooth with both Alex and Brayan !
When we arrived checking was perfect… and I have to say that me and my husband fall in love with this place. Every detail , the views , the tranquillity, the exteriors are breathtaking…!!!
Very clean and comfortable .. the kitchen has all basics and more ! We actually decided to stay one entire day at the place (no beach , no excursion) to completely enjoy every area of the house , pool, rooftop…even used the grill outside and we had the greatest day !
The bed is super comfortable and the design of the room with the option of opening doors and having the fresh air was a plus.Alex and Brayan responded so kindly and promptly to any questions about the area !
I highly recommend this place to anyone !
We will be back for sure some day !

Alex and Brayan are literally the dream team! This place is amazing. My husband and I spent the former half of our honeymoon here and it was perfect. They had everything you needed and more! 100% will be back next year for an anniversary. Also Theo (the dog) is cute and super sweet if you happen to meet him!

Alex and Brayan were incredibly kind and hospitable.
My best friend and I felt very welcome and comfortable in this luxurious studio apartment.

We felt very immersed in the nature of beautiful Costa Rica with an entire ecosystem in the backyard; parrots and iguanas were the highlight, amongst many other animals…

We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, eating dinner on the wrap-around porch, and listening to the ocean as we drifted off to sleep.

Would absolutely stay here again

if we return to Costa Rica in the future!

It’s an experience in itself.

The accommodations are pristine, modern and exceeded our every expectation. You could spend your entire trip on this property and still not have enough time to relax in the many well thought out areas to chill. The pool and views are incredible! Fruit trees, lizards and bird watching galore! The property and house are amazing, as is the local town. You get a true non touristy experience in the village and beaches of Esterillos Oeste. I highly recommend staying here for a romantic and authentic Costa experience. The hosts have created a vibe that allows for complete privacy or if you prefer they are more than willing to help you with a local adventure. Alex and Brayan are a wealth of local knowledge and extremely accommodating. We will absolutely be back.PURA VIDA!!

How do we begin to describe the most incredible location and home that we have stayed in? Alex’s home was beyond expectations and the hospitality offered by Brayan and Alex was incredible. We were met for a tour of the home and a bottle of sparkling Rose awaited us in the refrigerator. We awoke to Macaws in the branches and Iguanas in the trees. Cocktails by the pool, and coffee on the veranda, with ocean views, we couldn’t ask for more. If you are looking for a dream vacation, look no further! Watching the sunrise with fresh ground Costa Rican coffee was a daily ritual (Coffee supplied by Alex!) We never closed the doors or windows which gave us the indoor/outdoor living experience we expected in a tropical setting. With a roof top gym that afforded great views of the surrounding area, as well afforded a great vantage point to watch the sunset. We will be back!

Exceeded our expectations. The grounds were beautiful, with fruit trees and birds everywhere. Everything about the place made us not want to leave!

The private pool overlooking the ocean was our favorite place to chill, but the apartment and top floor were also amazing.

The little things really made a difference, from all the kitchen utensils, pans & dishes you could need to beach towels ready for a trip to the beach.

Amazing!! The views from the bed, the terrace and the pool was spectacular! The yoga /meditation/exercise rooftop deck was a sweet bonus – perfect way to start my days. A quick walk down the hill got me to restaurants, groceries and the beach. Alex was amazing – he helped me whenever needed, not that I needed much, and I felt totally looked after between Alex and the property manager Brayan. Spent a lot of time in the pool – loved that it’s salt water, and I hung at the ‘infinity edge’ many hours watching the iguanas climb the fruit trees and catching glimpses of the Macaws that fly around the immediate area of the house. I could hear the ocean while I slept which was absolutely divine and every morning I watched the early sunrise from my bed. The place was perfectly clean and secure and after arriving in Esterillos Oeste by myself, it was a great place for me to land so I could decompress, be inspired creatively, and to have fun!

MARY:

This home was worth every penny and it helped me save even more money by having the most useful and cozy kitchen, stocked with tropical fruits from their trees or greenhouse.

The grocery stores are walking distance and so is the beach, which is clean and beautiful.

The best view is by the infinity pool, or on the wrap around porch or at the rooftop gym.

Every area has a cozy living space for socializing or to fall asleep on from the relaxing sounds of waves and birds. There’s an even more private area by the hammocks and waterfalls.

This location worked out perfectly for us. We stayed far enough from the tourist areas but close enough to go for a short drive to the night life or take day trips and excursions, like the Manuel Antonio national park or horse back riding on the beach.

We were greeted by the owner, and the helper, Brayan, even carried our luggages upstairs when we arrived.

This was truly a 5-star private resort that gave us the best memories for our 1st visit to Costa, and the most beautiful pictures.
